                                                                                                A leading global logistics company is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Station Manager to lead its Cebu operations. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of station activities—from freight forwarding and customs clearance to customer service and billing—while ensuring operational excellence, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
                                                
                                                                                                
                                                                                                
 Job Responsibilities: 
                                                
- Oversee day-to-day station operations, including freight forwarding, customs, and handling activities.
- Set and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement and efficiency.
- Champion a customer-first mindset, ensuring reliable, high-quality service at all times.
- Manage budgets and financial performance, with accountability for profitability and growth.
- Ensure strict compliance with operational standards, customer requirements, and regulatory obligations.
- Align local station operations with the organization’s global strategy and adapt effectively to local market conditions.
- Build and lead a high-performing team culture across export, import, and handling departments.
- Handle key administrative matters and vendor negotiations within authorized limits.
- Partner with sales and key account teams to strengthen client relationships and support business development efforts.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- 8+ years of experience in the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
- Deep understanding of ocean, air, road, and rail transport operations, including import/export documentation and brokerage.
- Hands-on experience with CargoWise One or similar logistics platforms.
- Proven leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate teams and deliver results.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid business acumen with a focus on achieving operational and financial goals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence in client-facing situations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
